When you think about a safari or jungle themed baby nursery, you typically think about cartoon animals and bright colors. Patricia from Ivy Baby Co. had something more unique in mind for her son Dominic’s baby nursery.
“I’ve always loved a monochrome base, but when we found out we were having a boy, I found myself drawn to everything jungle,” stated Patricia. To satisfy her love of neutrals, she made gray the major color in her little boy’s room. She added a bold accent wall, painting a geometric pattern with two shades of gray paint and a section of cream with black polka dots. Jungle elements were incorporated with a gold faux taxidermy giraffe head wall mount, framed lion head drawing, and a jungle playmat that added a burst of color to the room. Of course, we were especially excited to see our fake giraffe head featured in such a gorgeous baby nursery.
Not only is this jungle themed baby nursery modern and stylish, little Dominic is stylish too! His wardrobe is from his mom’s Australia based company, Ivy Baby Co. (shop their adorable collection of fashion forward baby clothes here).
Another thing we love about this baby nursery is that it is gender neutral. While it was designed with a sweet little boy in mind, it could go either way with few touches of pink or blue. It can also be easily transformed from a baby nursery to a big kid room by just swapping the crib for a bed. Take a peek inside the one-of-a-kind safari nursery below.
